It’s been a high time since travel opened and everyone is planning to explore domestically and some internationally, however, the new cases of covid19 is looking as it would not stop as some of the places are once again seeing the rise of covid19 cases.
As people are getting vaccinated, borders are being opened up for travel the virus is showing no signs of stopping as covid 19 cases are surging in the country thus prompting authorities to reimpose lockdown amid the rise of covid 19 in their respective countries.
Here are some of the places where the countries have reimposed lockdown amid the domestic rise of covid 19 cases.
- China
China experienced a sudden surge of covid19 cases and the authorities have ordered strict lockdown measures in the city of Lanzhou, the capital of Lanzhou province as there has been the rise of the Delta variant of Coronavirus. China has maintained a zero-covid approach where the country imposes strict lockdown for a handful of cases.
As per the reports, there have been 29 new covid19 cases and China has already suspended Air, Bus, Taxi, Train services to the city of Lanzhou and also some of the entertainment venues in the capital Beijing has been closed. - Russia
Russia is going under nationwide lockdown from October 30 and the capital Moscow from October 28 as covid 19 cases sees a sudden spike.
The new restrictions will be in place till November 07 and during this period, all shops and educational institutions will remain shut. Restaurants and Bars will be allowed for takeaways only. - Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has imposed several new measures amid the rise of covid19 cases where, as per the new measures, face coverings will be made mandatory.
Bars and Restaurants will need to check if their guests are fully vaccinated have to provide proof that they have recovered against covid or have tested negative. - Latvia
Latvia reimposed fresh lockdown amid the domestic rise of covid19 cases with this, Latvia becomes the first European country to go under lockdown.
The country’s Prime Minister has said that the country will go under lockdown till November 15 which will be complemented with strict measures, a nationwide curfew will remain in place till November 15th from 20:00 – 05:00 hrs.
