As coronavirus has ravaged entire world the year 2020 has been worst affected with many countries closing its borders for all but essential travel.
The year 2021 ushered a new ray of hope in the form of vaccine and couple of countries have already vaccinated most of its citizens and are now easing the relaxation where the citizens can now roam mask free.
While India has rising coronavirus cases and many states are under lockdown, here are some of the countries that are easing by opening its borders to international tourists.
1) Thailand
One of the popular tourist destinations in South East Asia, Thailand is all set to welcome international tourists in the month of July. However, the catch is, the country will be open for vaccinated tourists at present.
Thailand in fact has been offering vaccine tours.
2) United Kingdom
Since May 17, 2021. The UK has been open to travelers however, the country has categorized countries under Red, Green, and Amber where the citizens in the green list can visit and some rules and restrictions for the people who are in Amber and Red list.
3) Greece
Greece is already open to fully vaccinated tourists. To visit this beautiful country, one needs to show that they have fully vaccinated or proof of recovery and they also need to show negative RT-PCR test report to enter into the country.
4) Iceland
The land of vikings, Iceland does not require you to go under quarantine or get tested. However, the rules will be easier for people who are fully vaccinated and it is now open to tourists.
5) Malta
The country with highest vaccination rate in Europe, Malta had announced that it will pay its visitors who wish to enter this amazing country for tourism.
6) Poland
This European nation is open to vaccinated tourists. However, if you are not vaccinated, you need to quarantine for 10 days and also you need to get tested upon entering the country.
7) Cyprus
With its exotic beaches, Cyprus is one of the popular destination for tourists. The country is now open to tourists from 65 countries and one needs to show that they are vaccinated and the country requires digital passport to enter.
8) Egypt
According to the new reports, Egypt is one of the latest countries to allow vaccinated tourists to enter into the country. Additionally, they need not take RT-PCR test upon arrival.
According to the recent reports, the health ministry said that vaccinated tourists should show QR code of vaccination and only tourists should have taken one of the six vaccine approved by Egypt and WHO.
