It has been a very long time since I wrote my review on music compilation and albums. However, my works has not stopped me from listening to new releases.
One of the latest compilation that I had an opportunity to listen to was Dave Lee – Produced With Love II.
This is a follow up of 2017 compilation Produced With Love which was a huge hit among disco music fans where the legendary UK producer/DJ/Mixer Dave Lee (AKA Joey Negro).
This new album incorporates the disco music and funk music details carefully which the music maestro is known for.
This compilation is a series of Soulful House, Funk, Soul, Disco and Afro house music.
For this compilation, Dave Lee has collaborated with artists such as Raw Essence, Mistura, Maurissa Rose, Billy Valentine, The Sunburst Band etc. The compilation also contains remixes from Dave Lee who has remixed for artists such as Roland Wrightangle, The Vision, Ja’shay, The Sunburst Band etc.
The compilation also has the recent #1 tune, Starlight where Dave Lee has collaborated with Omar: a former principal percussionist of the Kent Youth Orchestra and later a graduate of the Guildhall School Of Music who was awarded an MBE in 2012 for services to music.
All the songs in this compilation are worth a listen and if you are a soul, disco and funk fan then this is the album that you should add in your playlist.
