Folamour recently released his third album and this time he released on his label FHUO recordings.

The French based music producer has been a fore-front of many music festivals, livestreams and remixes for many years and after his successful debut album 4 years ago and a follow-up album 2 years ago, he is back with a new one.

The Journey album is a mix of many music genres where he has introduced a host of live instruments in this album where he has experimented with acoustic drum loops, electric guitar licks and a broad array of sumptuous synth sounds where he used to experiment with 70’s and 80’s disco edits and chops.

The album consists of 12 tracks which starts with track titled ‘Ono Waterfall’ is a simple yet complicated intro track which has a melancholy groove which lays path to the next track The Journey which is the title track of the album and to this track Folamour has collaborated with Zimbabwe born artist Zeke Manyika.

Check out the live session of the track The Journey Here.

The Journey is different to any other Folamour releases as he has experimented with innovative loop techniques and this song is a mix of pop, house and techno genres and is captivating to listen to.

The next tracks from the album Resonate, Rue de Paradis with artist Tertia May, Latécoère, Lost In Space featuring SG Lewis show him experimenting with various musical styles and the vocals which have been contributed by featured artists are just amazing to listen to.

Next 6 tracks of the album are solo creations of Folamour and this is where he has produced a series of exceptional music. One of my personal favourite track of this album La fin des vacances which is a penultimate track has mix of varied emotions.

If you want to experience different genres of music, this is the album to listen to.
