Sunshine Vintage House is a truly amazing hostel to stay. The hostel has 8 beds which is a mixed dorm and it offers 24 hours hot water shower. The hostel owner Nick is amazing who also has his own daily tour option which the hostellers can partake.

The hostel is located just 9-minute walk from Sacred Monkey Sanctuary and if you want to explore Bali you can ask Nick to take with him for daily travels.

Soon you land to this hostel, one feel the warmth of the place back home. You will be greeted by either Nick or by his wife. You will be given a short tour of the hostel where you have 8 comfy beds and a large locker to save the belongings. All the beds have a curtain, a plug point and night light. The dorm is equipped with Air Conditioner and it is cleanly maintained day in, day out.

Nick also gives a personal tour of the hostel which he planned to stay carbon-friendly environment, you can notice how he had planned with maximum use of natural resources, a little step like having a water tank which the hostellers can fill in their water bottle instead of having many plastic water bottles, usage of solar energy, natural light etc which when you discuss with Nick, you could listen to his plans of renovating the hostels.

The hostel serves a healthy breakfast option, as I was vegetarian I was provided with a vegan breakfast thanks to the lovely wife of Nick who prepared a vegan dish when I mentioned that I am a vegetarian. Nick is a friendly host who unites all the hostellers at the communal area, one can get to know people.

The hostel is easily accessible as there is a bus stop near to the place if you travel via Kura Kura Bus from Denpasar, however, there is a signboard which you can notice set up right at the main road and the hostel is just 150m from the main road.

Tip: Only Cash mode of payment is accepted, kindly carry cash as any other mode of payment is not entertained.

Update: Recently, Nick renovated his hostel which now can accommodate more people and it has a nice balcony view. The photos provided here are from the renovated hostels by Nick which you can visit soon after Bali is open to tourists.
