Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine a German Disco and House music producer/remixer and DJ is one of the respected musicians in the Disco Music Genre.
On the 15th of October, Purple Disco Machine released his second solo album titled Exotica.
Released on Columbia Records, Exotica is a 14 track album where PDM has collaborated with artists such as Sahara Beck, Moss Kena, The Knocks, Eyelar, Francesca Lombardo, Bloom Twins, Sophie and the Giants and many others.
Known for his disco music which has a touch of modern and vintage music, his remixes and originals have been played in many clubs and music festivals. The tracks remixed by PDM makes one dance which has been some of the fixtures in disco clubs worldwide.
For the album Exotica, Purple Disco Machine waddles between UK synth-pop, Italo-disco styles, and funk. You can find traces of George Michael, Quincy Jones and many others who have inspired PDM in his musical journey.
Exotica features signature Purple Disco Machine grooves, synths and guitar sounds. Starting with the track Can’t Get Enough where he collaborated with artists Sahara Beck invites you to explore the new album.
