Recently, The Vision released their debut album with self-titled name and was released in one of the house music famous label Defected Records.
Released on 13th November 2020, The Vision is a collaboration between Ben Westbeech and Kon who for the past 1 year have been releasing some of the best singles, remixes across various labels.
With a mix of soul, disco, house and funk the 14-track album features many A-Listers such as Roy Ayers, Honey Dijon, Andreya Triana, Dames Brown and Nikki-O on their debut album.
The duo made many songs such as Heaven, Mountains with long-time collaborator AndreyaTriana and they have been featured in many compilations and are one of the frequent tracks played in many sets. The vision also has produced music with their distinctive sound and featured collaborations which have been a part of many music festivals.
The first track of the album titled Remember is a collaboration track with Nikki-O &Andreya Triana and right from the first track, you will be hooked to the album. The dancefloor-friendly track Remember has clean vocals from Nikki-O and Andreya Triana which on first hear you will be dancing.
The next track is the most heard track titled Mountains by The Vision with collaboration with Andreya Triana. I am quite sure if you had heard any radio sets from Defected, then Mountains track was fixed with many people playing the track.
The next track is proper house/dance music track titled Down which is a collaboration track from The Vision and Dames Brown.
Another Andreya Triana track featured in the album is titled Missing which The Vision collaborated with Andreya Triana & Ben Westbeech and features slow house music with snares and proper vocals of both the artists.
The Time, an ambient music track from The Vision featured in the album is short 50 seconds track and it leads to the next track titled Believe where Ben Westbeech has collaborated with The Vision which is a peppy dance track.
Another short 54-second track titled Facade is featured here which has Jazz vibes and it leads to The Vision and Ben Westbeech track titled Paradise which is a piece of slow house music with disco vibes.
The next track Nebulous which is a 2-minute track is dance floor and intro friendly track.
One of the popular track titled Satisfy is a collaboration between Ben Westbeech, Honey Dijon & Andreya Triana and The Vision which is a track that gives the 80s – 90s vibe which we have listened via Soul Train vibes.
