Some of the bloggers, influencers, or any other tourist online will not highlight any local festivals which are not so known apart from major festivals. Several people tend to miss which is needed to be experienced by any tourists visiting a new destination.

Although guidebooks are heavy, you can find an online copy for the same which you can get from the official website. Also, if you cannot find a copy online, you can go to the government tourism board where they would have an updated version of the guidebook.

Upon arrival, you can find free flyers/catalogue of tourist places to visit at the airport which you can collect for reference. But guidebooks have more information and history associated with the location. This will be helpful to explore the new destination knowing the history which will help to imbibe the culture. Also, when you visit some of the untapped places, the locals will be supportive and try to help the visitor out of their ways.

Sometimes, a local may also allow you to stay at their location which would be helpful for budget spending on hotels to stay. Be open to trying a local delicacy, which you can try at the place which you stay as they cook some of the best food which goes out of their normal dish and they serve with love and hygiene.
