Vaccine Passport, What is it?

As the coronavirus pandemic has begun, we have been hearing new terms and new words daily.

In the list of new words, there is one more addition to it and that is Vaccine Passport.

As the countries have discovered vaccines and people are getting vaccinated respectively against the deadly coronavirus which is definitely good news for travel industry there are calls to introduce Vaccine Passport and this soon could be one of the important things in near future.

With the arrival of vaccines, there has been an increasing possibility that certain daily chores that had been forgotten will be back to normal, and as vaccines have come this could alter that.

Hence, vaccine passports would be soon introduced. Vaccine passports is an e-validation certificate for you to cross borders. It would soon be one of the important travel documents in the coming days.

This recommendation comes from the Global Tourism Crisis Committee and this organization has asked all health and travel groups to come up with a standardized digital certification system.

However, it is not 100% sure that vaccinations can prevent the spread of the virus it is yet to ascertain what changes should be there to visit a particular country. To check the spread of coronavirus, some travel bodies have made vaccines certificate an essential document for travel and we are definitely headed towards the point where this would be included for all international/domestic travel.

It might be an addition if a traveller has planned his/her visit to the yellow fever belt in Africa where you need to get vaccinated for yellow fever too.

Reportedly, Denmark is already working on a digital Covid-19 vaccine passport and vaccine documentation is a must required travel document for all forms of travel in the near future.
